MOVIES: “10-31” Has Its Director In Gigi Saul Guerrero

Coming in from Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr, Orion Pictures‘ next horror movie 10-31 has found its director in Gigi Saul Guerrero.

Announced back in October of last year, 10-31 was just a premise at the time and Eli Roth was attached to produce. Now as production ramps up, 10-31 could not have found a better director.

Gigi Saul Guerrero is no stranger to horror, having co-founded Luchagore Productions back in 2013. She has written, directed and starred in Hulu’s original horror hit Into the Dark along with directing “M is for Matador” for ABCs of Death 2.5.

10-31 is the Halloween story about an aunt who takes her niece and nephew out to trick-or-treat. Along the way, a sinister note is found in a piece of candy, leading the young woman to believe a killer is loose in the neighborhood.

No release date is known yet but with the film still in its early stages of production, it might be some months before we see a poster or trailer.
