STREAMING: ‘13 Ghost’ Gets The Short Treatment

Brought to our attention just this morning, Deadline’s Amanda N’Duka reports that Screen Gems and Crypt TV will team up to produce a 10-minute short film based off the oldie but goodie, 13 Ghosts. The short will be directed by William Castle and released on Crypt TV’s YouTube channel and Facebook early next year.

13 Ghost is the story of a family who inherits a house with 13 evil spirits inside it. Originally made and released in 1960, the film was remade in 2001 starring Shannon Elizabeth and Tony Shalhoub.

Ten minutes won't be enough to tell the whole 13 Ghost's story but it will be enough to give some set up and backstory for what I hope turns into a promising online horror series. Stay tuned and next year we will be privy to 13 Ghost.
