AMAZON: Rachel Weisz To Produce And Star In ‘Dead Ringers’ TV Series

Rachel Weisz, known for her work in 1999’s The Mummy and 2018’s The Favourite, is partnering with Amazon to bring the David Cronenberg classic Dead Ringers to television.

Written by Alice Birch, Dead Ringers will be the story of two identical twins played by Weisz, both OB-gyn’s who are highly successful and out to change the birthing process for women. Sharing everything in life and forces to be reckoned with, these two doctors will bend the rules ethically to get what they want.

Dead Ringers will be produced by Weisz and Amazon with Annapurna TV and Morgan Creek onboard to produce as well.
