Atomic Monster, James Wan's production company has secured the rights to Nick Cutter's "The Troop", the harrowing tale of a scoutmaster and his group of boys.

Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald will be adapting the book for the screen and onboard to direct is E.L. Katz.

"The Troop" is the story of a scoutmaster and his boys, who set off into the Canadian wilderness for a three day trip. Exposed to a bioengineered illness, the troop must fight for survival against all kinds of horrors, even themselves.

No release date yet and I would not expect it this year but stay tuned for more news that is sure to come.
