In a Deadline article by Justin Kroll and Nellie Andreeva it was briefly mentioned that William Friedkin's classic, The Exorcist, will be rebooted by Morgan Creek.
The reboot will begin production in 2021, leaving plenty of time for plans to emerge or fall through. I for one am withholding judgement until I hear, or see more about the project.
