Lionsgate Television chairman Kevin Beggs revealed to Deadline, the good news about its project in development but did not say much else. Fans of American Psycho, whether it’s the book or the film, will be eager to hear if Patrick Bateman will be coming back, or if maybe audiences will be treated to a new spin on the Bret Easton Ellis postmodern work of fiction.

Before moving on to speak about other projects coming soon from Lionsgate Television, Beggs did mention that they were also looking at other film franchises, as possible television projects, mentioning the Saw franchise. The franchise that Jigsaw created will see a new chapter begin with the release of Spiral, written by and starring Chris Rock, which hits theaters next month on May 13.
