The team behind this years hit horror feature The Invisible Man set their sights on the newly announced Wolfman film, that already has Ryan Gosling in the starring role.
Leigh Whannell and Blumhouse Pictures will join Universal in bringing an updated Wolfman to the silver screen. Whannell will not only serve as the film’s director but he will also write the film’s treatment. Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo have already been tapped to write the script based off Whannell’s treatment, while the director and Blumhouse Pictures join Gosling in producing.
Fans get ready! This may be the next step in a beautiful new Universal Monster Universe!
