One of my top, most-loved horror films will be getting the remake treatment, as Jordan Peele and Universal join forces to tackle the early nineties Wes Craven film, The People Under the Stairs.
Details about what exactly the remake will entail are still unknown at this time. Sources are sure that Peele will not be directing the film and it is not known if he will be involved in the writing process either. The remake of The People Under the Stairs will be produced by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, joining forces with Universal, to retell the story of young Fool and his battle against a deranged, not what they seem couple.
