POSTER: Chucky is Back

So apparently there is a new Child’s Play movie in the works and no one from the original is involved… WTF?

For those like I that feel like they are just climbed out from underneath a fucking rock when it comes to this new, Chucky news, know that you are in good company because neither I subscribe to IMDB Pro.

To those just tuning in, it appears that a Child’s Play remake has been in the works for a bit and we just got the first look at the ‘new’ Chucky.

That’s right. Chucky has gone anime.

All kidding aside, the new Chucky does not look much different from the old Chucky and from what I’ve read the story isn’t changing much either, it’s being updated and beefed up that’s for sure though.

For now it appears that Chucky, the doll possessed by Charles Lee Ray, will once again go after Andy Barclay with mom, Karen Barclay in tow. Aubrey Plaza (NBC's "Parks and Recreation," "The Little Hours") will star and as of yet we do not know who will be voicing the new Chucky. When I find out, should I find out, I’ll be posting it here first.
