NEW ROLE: Courteney Cox Attached To Starz' 'Shining Vale'

From creator Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, Divorce) and co-creator Jeff Astrof (Partners, Trial & Error) comes a half hour, horror-comedy pilot about a woman in a rut, who needs a change from the big city life.

Courteney Cox will star as Pat Phelps in the new Starz pilot, who as a youth lived a wild life and wrote a hit lady porn novel. Almost two decades later and Pat has yet to write a second novel and her family is falling apart. Needing a break, Pat moves her family from the city to the suburbs, into a house that starts to send Pat into even more of a downward spiral.

Shining Vale began as an idea from executive producer Aaron Kaplan, that was then formed into a story by Astrof and Horgan.
