Lost Boy fans! It appears that the new CW show has most of it main cast in place as well as a director on board.
It looks like Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey along with Kiele Sanchez (Kingdom) will be two of the three Emerson clan to head up the pilot of the much loved ‘80s cult vampire classic.
Posey will take on the role of Michael Emerson with Sanchez portraying his mother Lucy. We also have Dakota Sharpiro (Valley of the Boom) and Medalion Rahimi (Still Star-Crossed) along for the ride as the story of Santa Carla’s vampire population comes closer and closer to filming.

Even bigger news for this new series is the announcement of Catherine Hardwicke as director. Hardwicke known for true gems like Lords of Dogtown (2005) and Twilight (2008) brings not only experience to the table but also an understanding of teens that many directors today fail to capture.
With a well-rounded cast and a director that is truly visionary when it comes to film and teens, I see no reason why the new Lost Boys television series should not be a hit much like Riverdale and The Vampire Diaries.
