Horror is coming to superheroes in a big way with DC Universe's reveal of Swamp Thing.
After his billion dollar hit with Aquaman, director and producer James Wan will next get behind DC Universe's Swamp Thing, being made for the superhero streaming service available across the board on Apple, Android and Amazon platforms.
Behind Wan will be his team of director and executive producer Len Wiseman and writer/ executive producer Gary Dauberman. All three are no stranger the genre of horror and between possess a vast knowledge of what it takes to scare an audience. It was also reported not too long ago that Dauberman and Wan would also team up to bring Stephen King vampire story ''Salem's Lot' to the big screen.
The superhero television series will star Jennifer Beals and Virginia Madsen, along with Will Patton and shapeshifter Derek Mears in the title role.
Swamp Thing is set to premiere on Friday, May 31st on DC Universe.
