MPAA: ‘Doctor Sleep’ Is Rated R

No surprise to anyone familiar with the works of Stephen King, or the films they get adapted into, Doctor Sleep will be rated R for all the right reasons.

Director Mike Flanagan tweeted about the rating of his movie stating that it, “sounds about right” and one could hope that the movie delivers on its promise of ‘disturbing and violent content and some bloody images’.

Ewan McGregor and Rebecca Ferguson will star in the film adaptation of the sequel to Stephen King’s ‘The Shining’. Doctor Sleep is set to release this November 8th.
