Lollipop Chainsaw is getting the remake treatment, the comedic, hack and slash adventure being the latest game to get an upgrade and polish, headed by Dragami Games.
The 2012 single player game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Japan's Kadokawa Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Written by Masahiro Yuki and James Gunn, Lollipop Chainsaw, saw gamers cutting through hordes of zombies in a high school setting, all taking place on what should be Juliet Starling’s picture-perfect 18th birthday. Voiced by actress Tara Strong, Juliet gets help from her family and boyfriend Nick, who is literally attached to Juliet's hip, as she jumps realms and fights the undead in a game that was really fun to play.
Dragami Games is the successor to Kadokawa Games and will oversee the Lollipop Chainsaw remake that is scheduled to make its debut sometime next year. No word yet on what is going to change in the game, most times remakes have a tendency of changing some story elements, but as of now nothing is known yet.
