Eat See Hear: The Shining Comes to L.A.'s Autry Museum This Friday

L.A. Times' Eat See Hear, in partnership with SHOWTIME, brings the scares early this Halloween with a Shining feature film experience that you'll not want to miss; especially if you're around the Los Angeles area.

Tickets are on sale now for Eat See Hear: The Shining, the traveling outdoor movie event which takes place inside Griffith Park at the Autry Museum of the American West this Saturday. Stanley Kubrick's horror classic, The Shining, will terrify a large audience once again, with plenty of fun and treats to be enjoyed before the show.

Beginning at 5:30PM ticket holders can entertain their ear holes with a performance by Alexa Villa, singer of hits like Call Me Crazy, Good Girl, and I Want Them All, while satisfying their taste buds with food from local food trucks and pop-ups like Border Grill Truck, Wicked Kitchen, All Flavor No Grease, Coolhaus, and Rice Balls of Fire.

Beginning at 7:45PM, The Shining will play for an outdoor audience on the large, grassy lawn of the Autry Museum. Bring your chairs, blankets, and appetite for a pre-Halloween event that should get your spooky weekend off to the perfect start. Tickets can be purchased here.
