IllFonic and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed have some exciting new content in store for players with new maps, new ghosts, and so much more coming to the multiplayer game, beginning in the first quarter of next year.
Early 2023, IllFonic will release their first planned DLC for Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, introducing players to a new map called The Facility, and a new Ghost called Muncher, a spooky spectral that was last seen in the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The Facility will bring Ghostbusters together to try and rid the condemned health center of its ghostly plague, a feat that will allow the building to get a much need facelift. But watch out because Muncher is now loose and he's not going to be evicted without a fight. New character customization options will be coming with the DLC drop as well, in addition to patches and support that will keep Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed running smoothly for you and up to four friends.
IllFonic's Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed released to consoles and PC -- via Epic Games -- back on October 18, introducing gamers to a 4v1 asymmetrical experience inspired by the hit Ghostbusters franchise. At launch the game had five maps for players to experience, as well as four Ghostbusters and five Ghosts to choose from. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed currently sits with a 4.5 out of 5 stars rating on the Epic Games Store, and several other top ratings from reviewers like Shacknews, Big Shiny Robot, and Gaming Cypher.
More news and information is on its way from IllFonic and Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed before the first DLC drop hits consoles and PC. Starting next year, players can look forward to four new DLC drops full of Ghostbusters content, that is sure to add even more fun to what is an already enjoyable gaming experience.
