NEW ROLE: Gina Torres To Star In Pilot For Vampire Drama 'The Brides'

Gina Torres (Firefly, Westworld) has been cast in the lead of ABC's new pilot, The Brides, an updated take on Dracula's sinister seductresses of the night.

Torres will play Cleo Phillips, the leader of the sexy, powerful trio, who is a real estate titan struggling to hold onto her sisterly bonds in this new vampire drama set in New York City.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, developer of Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has written the new pilot that will be directed by Maggie Kiley, who has done episodes of American Horror Story, Scream Queens and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
