Earlier this week, I Know What You Need made its debut at the Maine International Film Festival, entertaining audiences on July 13th at the Waterville Opera House, and then again on July 15th at Maine Film Center 1. The film's director, Julia Marchese, was happy to let her followers know via update on the Indiegogo campaign.
I Know What You Need is a short film written and directed by Julia Marchese, based on a short story by bestselling author, Stephen King. A part of the Dollar Baby program, an arrangement in which the author allows his short stories to be adapted by students and aspiring filmmakers, I Know What You Need has come a long way since its Indiegogo beginnings.
Starring Caroline Renee (as Caroline Goldenberg), William Champion, Giovanna Drummond, and Colin Fin (as Colin McKechnie), I Know What You Need tells the story of Elizabeth, a popular college co-ed, who has captured the attention of Edward, an unusual young man with a dark secret. I Know What You Need is an after school special of a love story, with a runtime of 45 minutes. If you're lucky enough, you just might catch I Know What You Need at a film festival near you.
