TELEVISION: Meet New Arrival To 'Castle Rock', Annie Wilkes

The second season of Hulu's Castle Rock announced months back that Lizzy Caplan would be joining the cast as Annie Wilkes and I for one could not be happier.

The only other time we've seen the role of Annie Wilkes on screen was when she was portrayed by the amazing Kathy Bates in Misery (1990) that starred James Caan as the distressed author Paul Sheldon.

From the sneak peek we got in the trailer, it looks as if Annie will be running from her past with daughter in tow, winding up in the small town of Jerusalem's Lot. If you're not up to date on season one of Castle Rock check it out on Hulu and be sure to be there for the second season premiere coming Wednesday, October 23rd.
