Writer's picture: Eric J. CullenEric J. Cullen

The reign of King has no end in sight especially with team Muschietti behind him and according to Dread Central's Josh Millican, another project seems to be in the works.

Published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman back in 1981, Stephen King's novel "Roadwork" will be adapted for the big screen thanks to the author and film making, sibling duo.

"Roadwork" is the story of a man whose life falls apart when his son dies, his wife leaves and he loses his job all within a short span of time. To make matters worse, the city now wants to destroy his house to make way for a highway. A person can only take so much and be pushed so far until they react.

Having struck gold once with IT, released back in 2017, and now on track to do it again with IT: Chapter Two, Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Stephen King will come together once again to bring one of the bestselling author's less terror-filled works, to the big screen. Still in its early stage of production the project has no release date as of yet.
