Writer's picture: Eric J. CullenEric J. Cullen

Deadline's Peter White announced earlier today that FX would be taking on three new docuseries dealing with people and matters such as Tupac Shakur, the fight for LGBTQ rights and the Zodiac killer.

Still in early development, the FX Zodiac docuseries will be adapted from the New York Times bestseller written by Gary Stewart which was published back in 2015.

"The Most Dangerous Animal of All" tells the story of Stewart's search for his biological father, in what becomes a decade long hunt for a man he has only just heard about at the age of thirty-nine. What begins as a wholesome search eventually takes a dark turn when the man Stewart believes to be his father, might just be the Zodiac killer.

The docuseries will air on FX in four parts and will be produced by Ross Dinerstein and director Kief Davidson. There is no release date yet but when it's known, you'll read about it here.
