New Versions of 'American Psycho' & 'The Dead Zone' Coming From Lionsgate

Jeff Sneider breaks this hot horror news on his website The Insneider and new information is available now but only to those who have a premium subscription to Insneider content.

I don't have a premium subscription so I was left with the bit of info mentioned in the description, using Bloody Disgusting to fill in some blanks. Here's what I know...

Lionsgate is making plans for a new American Psycho movie. A sequel was made back in 2002 starring Mila Kunis but there has been no word yet if the sequel will have any play in the new American Psycho movie or if Patrick Bateman will even be the main. Who knows? It could end being a son he has no clue about.

As for The Dead Zone...a project is being created with horror producer Roy Lee. Bloody Disgusting reported that Jeff Sneider had to say on the Dead Zone project, "...Roy Lee producing a new take that has Lionsgate very interested, as the studio’s TV department produced the USA series that starred Anthony Michael Hall.”

Will it be a movie or TV series? Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm definitely onboard for another Stephen King related show or movie, I don't know if The Dead Zone would have my first choice but Stephen King is still popular and at this point nothing is safe or sacred. Another American Psycho movie is ballsy, like making a Fight Club sequel, and I feel the only reason 2000's American Psycho popped off was because of high DVD sales and a cult status that followed shortly after.

If anymore news should surface on these two projects, know that you will find the info here...after I get it from others because I don't have any premium subscription to anything horror yet.
