'Pet Sematary: Bloodlines' Comes to Paramount+ This October

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will enjoy its premiere on Paramount+ later this year, but first, those behind the film have unveiled a tantalizing sneak peek of what's to come from the Pet Sematary prequel.

Inspired by Stephen King's renowned novel published back in 1983, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines offers audiences an untold chapter from the bestselling author's chilling universe. Set in 1969, the movie follows a young Jud Crandall, as he uncovers unsettling secrets about his hometown of Ludlow, Maine. Joined by childhood friends, Jud will confront an ancient evil that has plagued his small town since its very beginnings.

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will star Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Samantha Mathis, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Isabella Star LaBlanc, with Pam Grier and David Duchovny onboard, as well. Directed by Lindsey Beer, who co-writes the prequel along with Jeff Buhler, the film is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines is a Paramount+ original movie that was created in collaboration with Paramount Pictures' Players. The film will be part of Paramount+ Peak Screaming collection, which will take place when we get closer to Halloween. Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will premiere on October 6.
