'Saw X' Rips Past $40 Million At The Worldwide Box Office

Saw X is quickly becoming the ultimate moneymaker for the franchise, having surpassed the $40 million mark in global earnings and its predecessor, Spiral: From the Book of Saw. Following an impressive opening weekend, Saw X will more than likely continue its winning streak for Lionsgate, well into its second weekend.

Racking up a bunch of favorable reviews and an impressive score of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, Saw X adds an additional $8 million to its domestic box office this week, bringing its total earnings to $32.5 million. Globally, Saw X has trapped and secured a total of $43.8 million in just ten days of release. With a production budget of $13 million, Saw X has already proven to be profitable and will continue to collect blood in the weeks leading up to Halloween.

A big shout out to all involved with Saw X, you all did a great job in making a character driven Saw flick, and I can't wait to see what more is to come from this amazing team of creatives. Keep at it!
