Can you write horror? Maybe you've never tried but want to give it a shot? Here is your chance with Dreadit's 3rd Annual /r/Horror Screenplay Challenge.

"Two years ago, the first /r/Horror Screenplay Challenge began based off of a simple idea: that /r/horror users could write better movies than the same-old generic shlock that is routinely served to the horror community. Now, over 100 screenplays later, /r/horror users have shown that they come up with some of the most deranged, creative, and downright frightening horror ideas, and now it’s your turn to give it a shot."
There are a few rules that writers have to submit to, such as a minimum length of 70 pages and certain writing points and suggestions that must be followed, assigned by fellow Dreadit users. If you think you have what it takes to write a horror movie then prove your stuff. The submission window is open starting today, August 23rd and will remain open until October 5th. Winning scripts will be announced on Halloween, October 31st.
