Humans beware! Your televisions and streaming devices will soon fall victim to Discovery's annual week of terror, with Shark Week set to begin late next month.
Going strong since 1988, Shark Week has captivated audiences by bringing shark stories, knowledge and documentaries into the living rooms of families for decades. This year's Shark Week will be broadcast in over 72 countries, though audiences still have to wait for those at Discovery to drop the schedule for the upcoming TV event with teeth.
Having enjoyed Shark Week since I was a child, I am always fascinated by the shows dedicated to the history and study of sharks, as well as the ones that focus on shark conservation. Some of the features on Shark Week can get goofy and a little out there, and I would expect to see some in this year's Shark Week.
Programming will take place on Discovery as well as their subscription streaming service, discovery+, beginning on July 24. A schedule for the upcoming Shark Week should be dropping soon and when it does, you can bet your last bit of trick or treat candy that you'll find it here on Horror Junket.
