Quibi, the media company that creates media for smartphones, set for an April 2020 release, has Steven Spielberg onboard to write a horror series with a catch.

While answering questions at Banff World Media Festival, held in Canada, Jeffrey Katzenberg said, "Steven Spielberg came in, and said, ‘I have a super scary story I want to do.' He’s writing it himself. He hasn’t [written anything in a while] so getting him to write something is fantastic." Spielberg, no stranger to writing for television with his Amazing Stories series has a request though and that is that series, titled for now Spielberg's After Dark, will only be viewable after midnight.

Continuing further, Katzenberg says Spielberg has already “written five or six episodes,” of what could be a 10 or 12 episode series. Horror fans keeps an eye out because the man who made you fear going for a swim in any larger body of water, will be back at it.
