The George A. Romero zombie classic has been adapted from film into a television show that has found its home on Syfy.
Day of the Dead will be about the first 24 hours of when the dead rise from their graves and start to feast on the living. Caught in the chaos are six people, complete strangers, who must try to survive the sudden zombie uprising.
Written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, Day of the Dead will be a 10 episode series that will premiere on Syfy.
