The First 'Saw X' Poster Emerges

For those eagerly anticipating the return of Saw later in October, a new poster has been revealed, that shows someone in a trap that they probably don't want to be in.

Lionsgate has released the first official poster for the upcoming Saw X, which will feature Tobin Bell reprising his role as Jigsaw, despite his character's death in the third installment.

The movie is set between the events of the first two films and explores a personal game orchestrated by Jigsaw. The story follows John Kramer's return as he seeks an experimental medical procedure in Mexico to cure his cancer, only to discover it's a scam preying on the vulnerable. Armed with a renewed purpose, he turns the tables on the scammers through a series of ingenious and terrifying traps.

Kevin Greutert, who directed Saw VI, returns to helm this installment, with the script written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg, who are well-versed in the sagas' history. Unlike the previous entry, Spiral: From the Book of Saw, which explored new characters and direction, Saw X returns to familiar territory.

While there's no further casting information available yet, fans can expect a trailer soon before the film's release on Friday, September 29. Until then, speculation about the horrifying eye trap shown on the poster is sure to keep fans intrigued.
