BUZZ: Tony Todd Will Make Appearance in Jordan Peele's 'Candyman'

Since it was announced back in 2018 that Jordan Peele was onboard to revive the Candyman name, fans have been asking, "Is Tony Todd coming back?"

Rest easy fans, Tony Todd has spoken and according to him, "Out of the blue, I got a phone call from (Peele). We’re still waiting for the contract, but the way he explained it to me was that it’s gonna be applause-worthy moments. That’s his words. No matter what happens with that, it’s gonna just put renewed attention on the original."

Since it was announced in February that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, fresh off Aquaman fame, would be taking over as the hooked villain, many have wondered if Todd would be making a return. Rest assured fans, Tony Todd will be back and stay tuned for further news on the upcoming Candyman movie hitting theaters June 12, 2020.
